How Trekin Outdoors Utilizes Product and Marketing Photography in Their Growth Strategy - Client Success Story

Meet Trekin Outdoors - a wilderness adventure show born out of Chris Queen, the host and co-founder’s, love for hunting. What started as one YouTube video has now become a featured program on Sportsman Channel and MyOutdoorTV. Follow along with the members as they hunt, fish, and explore the great American outdoors!

Part of what makes Trekin Outdoors thrive is the sponsorships they receive, and that’s where I come in. For a little over a year, I’ve been taking photographs of their partner companies’ products, highlighting the tools, equipment, and gear they use on the show. I’ve taken pictures of so many different products for Trekin, each session a new opportunity to keep the show on TVs across America. But it goes beyond that. Trekin and their partners needed a way for these products to get more visibility outside of the show, and having professional photos taken provides a simple yet effective solution to that problem, one that results in success for all involved.

Some examples include:

Binocular chest harnesses from Venandi Holsters

Cutting boards from Old Yankee

Reusable ice cubes from Zero Ice

Grills from The Moose

Chris is very involved in his community and enjoys providing others, who otherwise may not have the chance, to get outside and explore. As a veteran himself, he works hard to support other veterans in their hunting and fishing endeavors, annually hosting both a veteran hunt and a banquet to raise money for the continuing involvement of veterans and first responders in outdoor activities.

My favorite thing about my work with Trekin Outdoors is the relationships it has fostered, both professionally and with nature. Through this experience, I’ve been able to get more in touch with my outdoorsy side. Coming from a family of outdoorsmen, I was familiar with the hunting lifestyle growing up, but never was one myself. To this day, I’m surrounded by people actively involved in the hunting and fishing communities, including Chris. I get to connect with nature and learn about Trekin’s various sponsors while taking pictures of things I never would have dreamed of photographing. My husband and son frequently model products, and the photographs I’ve taken of them have even been used by Trekin Outdoors’ partners across the country! It’s a great opportunity for all involved, and I’m honored that I get to be doing this kind of work with such great people.
