Morgan | Class of 2019

Morgan's senior pictures happened to take place on one of the most gorgeous Michigan days that we have had in a long time. We woke up bright and early in the morning to get her photos taken before it got too hot with mid-day sun so we both looked like zombies for a minute before we got started! Neither one of us are morning people from what I gathered! Needless to say, we worked through it and got some amazing pictures! Here are a few of my favorites from Morgan's session and a little more about her!

RP: You mention possibly wanting to go into the medical field with the ultimate goal of being a pediatric oncologist. What drew you to this career choice?

Morgan: My second cousin had cancer when he was really young. We don't see each other much, but we still have always been really close. I admire how strong he was as a young boy and overcoming it. I know for sure that I am not as brave as he was and is to this day. Just hearing and seeing what these kids go through inspires me to try and help them get through it.

RP: What was your best moment in volleyball? How about softball?

Morgan: The best moment in volleyball was probably winning a big tournament, the St. Louis one. We were all very proud that we won because our season had a lot of ups and downs, but we managed to fight through this tournament and were awarded in the end! The best moment in softball was the multiple team bonding nights at the pond. I had so much fun getting to know all of my teammates better off the field! Sorry Mom for getting home so late on school nights, but those are memories I will never forget!

RP: What is your greatest success or accomplishment?

Morgan: I'm sure my biggest accomplishment will change as I get older. Right now I would say it is moving from Rockford to Westphalia in 6th grade. It was a pretty big change for me at the time and I had to make all new friends. I would not have it any other way, the move was totally worth it!

Thank you, Morgan, for allowing me to capture you during your senior year!
