Letti | Portland, MI Senior Photos
I was so thrilled when Letti’s family invited me to do her senior pictures and asked me to their home to get amazing images on their property. I am always so happy when people invite me to their homes, it is so much more personal and unique. Not to mention the fact that many people are surprised at the things I can find to photograph! Here are a few of my favorites from Letti’s session along with a little more about her!

Letti: Advice that I would give my younger self is to relax more and to not worry as much because not everything has to be perfect.
RP: What is your best memory from high school?
Letti: My best memory from High School was when I was in Pre-Calculus and for the entire school year me and a friend would just play hangman and tic tac toe.
RP: What is your favorite pastime and why?
Letti: My favorite pastime is to draw and listen to music. I enjoy this because it relaxes me and it allows me to be creative and be alone.
RP: Who is someone you look up to and why?

Clint | Portland, MI Senior Photos
Clint was able to grab up one of my last available fall sessions this season and I am so happy he did! Because of Michigan’s fall weather, we had to do a last minute switcharoo on his session day/time but it truly worked out for the best. With perfect lighting outside for his evening session along with a little bit of fall color, we got pretty lucky because you just never know what is going to happen when you are in Michigan! Clint and I were able to get some amazing shots of him for his senior year, here are a few of my favorites along with a little more about him!

Aliesha | Portland, MI Senior Photos
Aliesha is lucky enough to be part of my crazy family (she is my cousin) so it was so exciting for me to have the privilege to capture her for her senior year and share some of what I love with her. Here are a few of my favorites from her session along with a little more about her!
RP: What was your favorite thing about getting your senior pictures done?

It was just ironic when Katherine (Aliesha’s cousin) was so quiet and I was just waiting, laughing and having fun but then when I was getting my pictures done, Katherine and everybody else would be dead silent!
RP: What is a piece of advice that you'd give to your younger self?
Aliesha: A piece of advice that I would have given my younger self would have been to get out more and do more. I would have told my younger self “Hey maybe go try to get to know these people a little bit more or go do this sport or do something”.
RP: What will you miss most about high school once you graduate?
Aliesha: When I graduate high school, I'm going to miss the band most. The band has been my whole life, I've grown up with it and I couldn't imagine my life without it. I have a true family there.

The Wade Family | Lowell, MI Family Photos
Take a good look at my friends! I was so excited when the Wades asked me to update their family photos! They are good friends of ours so I knew it was going to be a blast getting these photos and catching up with them. Not too long ago, while I was missing them during the Michigan stay home order, I dropped a little gift on their front porch and came up with a hashtag for our friendship (#jorades) I’m pretty sure everyone thought I was a major dork, but that’s just how I roll! 😂 If that doesn’t give any indication of how comfortable I am in this friendship I don’t know what will, Haha!
Here are a few of my favorites from their session!
