Sierra | Ionia, Michigan Senior Pictures
Sierra chose the most beautiful day for her senior pictures! I love good weather days for photos because it just makes the images pop more and helps families relax with their session because they don’t have to worry about crazy Michigan weather.
Sierra is a PW senior this year but wanted to travel out of town to Bertha Brock Park in Ionia for her senior photos. This was a wonderful choice because we got the most beautiful photos for her to choose from! Here are a few of my favorites from her session!

Dru | Grand Ledge, Michigan Senior Photos
I was so happy to hear from Dru for his senior photos and even more excited that he had arranged to utilize Grand Ledge’s football stadium for his senior pictures. I had not yet been on the field, so seeing the stadium from the turf was a new experience for me. In addition to the awesome photos we got there, we also spent some time around downtown Grand Ledge which is always a great choice for senior pictures too. Troy | PW, Michigan Senior Photos
Troy is such a good sport! It was raining right when his senior session was supposed to begin, so we waited it out and got started when we could. However, it started raining again. Each time between the rain, we would run out and get as many photos done as possible. Even in having to do this, Troy still has so many photos to choose from. And the best thing yet, the photos look amazing because cloudy skies mean great lighting for photos! Here are a few of my favorites from his senior session!

Gussie | Portland, Michigan Senior Pictures
Gussie did so well planning her senior photo session! She wanted to be sure to include her horses as well as spots around her and her grandparents home. I cannot even begin to tell you how good of a choice this was. Not only did she get great images with her horses, but the properties that she introduced me to were absolutely stunning. Ellie | Graduation Photos at MSU
I met up with Ellie on the MSU campus where she will be attending school this fall. She wanted to grab some graduation photos on campus to celebrate her recent graduation from high school. I am so glad she did this because we got some amazing photos! MSU campus is just perfect and Ellie is simply gorgeous! Here are a few of my favorites from her session.

Ben | Ionia High School Senior Photos
I met up with Ben in Portland, Michigan for his senior photos and it was the perfect choice! He shared that he was up for anything for his portraits but I did catch that having him near the water would actually mean a lot since growing up he spent a lot of time near the water. Since Portland is the ‘City of Two Rivers’ this actually worked out pretty perfectly! Here are a few of my favorites from his session!

I had so much fun with Drew for his senior photos! We met at his home and then moved into Westphalia, MI to finish off his session. He got so much variety in his photos by doing this. It was a beautiful evening and we got so many different options to choose from! Here are a handful of my favorites!

Payton | Portland, Michigan Senior Photos
I was so excited to kick off senior photo session season with Payton. She chose an amazing location and came prepared to get her senior year started! She was a little nervous about being in front of the camera but I am telling you I don’t know what she is talking about! After this gorgeous session she has so many great photos to choose from! She has an exciting year ahead too, not only is she going to be graduating and doing all the senior year things but she is headed to Europe in a couple of short weeks too, what an amazing experience! Prom Photography | Portland, Michigan
Each year students gear up and dress their best for their big night at Prom, it only seems fitting to capture that in photos! I had a few couples visit me prior to prom this year for photos and we captured some amazing images, even in the rain! The nice thing about getting photos prior to heading out to prom is that these couples did not have to wait in line for photos at the prom and could focus on dancing the night away! My first session with James was rescheduled due to rain but we ended up rescheduling for the most perfect fall day! There is nothing better than a good fall day in Michigan to capture senior portraits and he really lucked out weather wise! Noah and Jacob met up with me in Portland for their senior photo session. I have photographed their family before, but they are finally seniors so here we are! Caleb chose the most perfect fall evening for his senior session and had the perfect location in mind for his pictures. He wanted to incorporate hunting into his photos, so it only seemed right that his photos take place near the woods. The morning I met up with Lindsey was a typical chilly fall morning in Michigan. Lily is such a natural in front of the camera, so when she said she wasn’t good at taking photos, I honestly do not know what she is talking about! This girl was everything! Evan | Grand Ledge, MI Senior Photos
I met up with Evan in Grand Ledge, Michigan to get his senior photos done. I absolutely love this area because there is so much to see and it has so many little spots for photos! The day we had scheduled for photos though was showing a lot of rain, so a quick conversation with Evan’s mom proved that we were both able to be super flexible if we found a break in the storm…and we did! It wasn’t more than 5 minutes after I packed my camera up after his session that it began to downpour rain! I am so happy that we were able to stay flexible and make his session happen, it turned out perfect!

I met up with Everett on a farm in the little town of Mulliken, Michigan and it couldn’t have been a more perfect location! Luckily the rain that occurred during his session was brief so we were able to start and finish his session with the most perfect weather and cloud cover (which is always perfect for photography!).
